Help from NY moms!  Anyone been to fleet week and can offer information on where to stay? We've lived in NY for 7 years and have never been to the city. We have no idea where to go or where to stay. Should we drive, fly or take a train???  HELP!

Okay, Western NY ladies. A group of us moms on FB are talking about a wine and painting get together. There is a studio in Lockport that does this. We can have a private party where we get a picture that we are taught as a group to paint. If we choose a "2 hour picture" it's $35 per person and if we choose a  3 hour picture it's $45 per person. 10 person minimum and I think I have the minimum. Anyone interested? And if so, are there any weekends that are not good for you? The weekend of the 5th is not good for me as my Sailor will be coming home for 3 days so he can buy a car (his 1st!).
