Tysmom, wow 40 years way to go.  Good luck with your retirement, you've earned it.  I know what you mean about working around a hospital holidays.  My daughter is an RN in Oncology at Troy, Beaumont.  We had Easter on Sat.  I also use to be in retail management was always working holidays.

You are right Colleen. I told my kids I was going to learn to play video games and watch more Netflix!!!

I was really running out of time to work...to many things to do, places to go, people to see. No more holidays to work around for family gatherings.

Oh Marianne, you were right on que!  The whole just boomed with, "He is risen indeed!  Alleluia!"  For a minute there, we thought we were in a Baptist church!!!  Gave me goosebumps!  Tfhere is a fabulous fabric store on Jackson Rd.  Side trip!

Wow tysmom, 40 years at Blodgett.  I don't think I have to ask if you are going to like retirement.

Comment by Lorraine on April 20, 2014 at 3:37pm

Tysmom, that is something to look forward to! Not many people can say they worked 40 years in one place. Have a great week!

Comment by tysmom on April 20, 2014 at 3:32pm

He is risen indeed! Have a blessed Easter!

I work next weekend which happens to be my last as I am retiring from Blodgett Hospital after 40 years...wow 2/3 of my life!!!!

I will have more news later!!!

Colleen, It might be Jackson Rd. It is the first AA exit when coming from the west on I-94, the same exit where they advertise Weber's Restaurant and hotel.

He is risen indeed! Alleluia!!

Happy Easter everyone!  He is risen!  Marianne, it's your turn.  It's a beautiful day, I agree Lorraine.  Heard from my Sailor last night.  Momma's happy.  Lorraine, waiting to see if anyone wants to carpool from GR.  What's the name of the exit?  Jackson Rd.?

Everyone, have a glorious day!
