~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Any BattleStations dates for this group?  I was given the one for 925 by someone on here, but did not hear about the rest of them.  If you received one from your SR, can you please friend request it/message it to me?  I keep schedules but get info from you.  I have a pretty good idea which divisions go when from past groups, but that is not "written in stone"....so would love to have confirmation from you all.  Just let me know!  Remember, that we cannot post them here on this page or in the FB groups.  We can only private message/friend request the info.  Thanks!

Good Morning All !

Navy 11:  I would print the gate pass just to have.  However, you will not need it if taking a shuttle to PIR---only if driving a car on base.

Even those with military ID need to be on the sailor's guest list to get in.  It used to be that they allowed retired and active duty personnel in for the PIRs without being on the list, but that has changed now.  All must be listed as guests to get on base for PIR.

If there is a reason you cannot print the gate pass, I wouldn't worry about it if you are sure you are taking a shuttle to PIR.

This may have already been asked, but I'm gonna go ahead and ask it again. Do we need a gate pass to get into PIR, or into the base? I have a military ID to get access into the base, and I will be taking Sarge's Taxi services to get to PIR. Does anyone know if I still need to print out a pass?
