Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

What an amazing day we had with Spencer. Yes, Ivall3, when that door opened up as the drum corps was playing, it was like a dream. Spencer told me that the RTC's called them the absolute worst division they'd ever seen at the beginning of bootcamp, but by the end, they were calling them the absolute best they'd ever seen. My daughter told me that Spencer seemed taller. He stands up so straight and tall now. He greeted people with "yes Sir"and "No Sir" at the restaurant. Heads turned when we walked in with our handsome Sailor. He even had a family approach him and thank him for his service, and then buy him dessert. He speaks with confidence and looks people in the eyes. The Navy has completely changed the trajectory of my son's life. I will forever be grateful for that. And this is just the beginning...God Bless all of you Navy families and your precious Sailors.

I agree 110%! The PIR was the most amazing, emotional, unforgettable experience! If you have any pictures/vides could you send them to me? I am particularly looking fora great shot of when the doors opened and our Sailors were ready to come in! I get goosebumps every time I think of it! My Sailor was in the first division to enter and WOW is all I can say! HOOYAH!

Hi Leach !!!! OHH EM GEEE ! PIR for our family was AH-MAZING ! We missed our Sailor so much (especially me) during the journey of Boot Camp but seeing him in his dress blues made the entire ride so much more worth it ! We shed many tears of joy and had a really nice time. We took so many pictures and I recorded many videos. He introduced me to some of the other Sailors afterwards and we ventured off to have some time to ourselves. My sailor had a smile on his face during the entire time we were at dinner ! I wish I can do it all over again... Not the Boot Camp part !!! Just the PIR ! We had a great time. Now he's off in Meridian, MS for A school and it's much easier this time around. I wish all of the other upcoming Sailors the best in the ride... Lord knows it's a bumpy one ! But the best part is getting through it :)

Leach, couldn't have said it better myself! When I returned to work Monday I was so happy and beaming and PROUD. When asked how my weekend was, my reply was "i believe it was the most perfect weekend I have ever had in my entire life". The pride and emotion I felt for ALL the graduates at PIR was overwhelming. What an amazing accomplishment for them all. And seeing our son was awesome! He is now in Pensacola and it is so great to wake up to a morning text from him. No more mad dashes to the mailbox on Thursdays after work for me! lol. I am so grateful for the guidance here and also from my local group of Navy moms here in CT. Such great support and sincere, honest caring from them all - they are my Navy sisters. Best to all of our Sailors and their families. And a big thank you to my son....for bringing us along on this journey with him. It truly IS a great honor to be a part of the U.S. Navy family !

I felt like I was in a dream from Thursday at the Meet & Greet, Friday at PIR, and Saturday and Sunday that I got to spend time with my Sailor. Each day was AMAZING! It was great to meet people from all over the US. N4Ms has been a lifeline since before my daughter left for BC. I am so thankful for that. Congratulations to each and every Sailor and to the families that are celebrating this accomplishment! I still have lots to learn and I know that I can come back here and find answers and comfort. I will continue to keep all of our Sailors in prayer and keep the blue candle burning! What an honor to be a part of the Navy family! I hope everyone had safe travels returning back home. Peace and Blessings to all!

Well I will be leaving later today back to Los Angeles and via the Amtrak train CHHHHOOOOO CCCHHHOOOO. I did met in person LEach73 and oh dear forgot names but I meant him, his wife, and His Brother and at Grad. you know I do not do Facebook or social media so this is amazing connecting with so many people for support and anything we might need. I am so proud of my little Brother and of all our Sailors. I do hope we keep in touch. I hope everyone had a great Easter and thanx Craig for that post. Anchors Aweigh!!!
