Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 257 and 258

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Linda, I hope you get mail real soon. The letters I got were dated  july 9. I'm so happy you got to see him. Hang in there. Praying for all of them.

My son is also in Div 257, and we didn't get a call either! I was really hoping to hear from him! 32 days until PIR...

Wow 32 days, I hear if they have made it this far then chances are they will finish. I can't wait!

We've already booked the hotel and rental car we're still deciding if we will fly or drive.

Hello, has anyone spoken to their SR. It's been a few weeks since I've gotten a call.....sigh

No, I haven't talked to him for a few weeks. His letter last week told me they are very busy. He is doing really good.  I can tell the difference in him, just by what he is writing in his letters now. I keep my phone with me at all times, so I don't miss a phone call.   So I wait and I count down the days till I see him!!

I didn't get a call this weekend either. I was hoping and I keep my phone on me at all times as well. I even forward cell calls to house phone so I can hear it all over the house. I haven't received any letters either. I assume all is well. Would love to talk to him though!!

diannep I was wanting to know how I can find out information on when my son in div 258 will be taking place in the battle stations. Thank you if someone could help me

My sons in the same div and I was wondering the same thing. Not sure im posting in the right spot.

Tammy, my son is also 258. I sent the info to you in a friend request. Hope this helps.
Wendy

I got a letter today!!!  A real one, not a "hi family I miss you and I will send a longer letter later, love you"

He sounds so good, the letter was so funny, so I guess PIR is still a go. We were a little worried with him being sick and out for four days. I am so happy and excited, no matter what happens!! Says I should get a call tomorrow after battle stations. I can't wait!!

Hope you Moms are feeling as good. God bless our sons and daughters!!

Linda
