Hi all, been awhile since I've been on here. Anyone else's sailor graduating Aug 1? I'm super excited! So thankful that his grades have consistently been going up, as it was a bit scary to start. But, he's done with all test except the Comp next Tue. Good luck to all that are taking Comp next week! Can't wait to see my boy. :D

Mrsds2012 thank you for the info. I did tell my sailor that he needed the carfax, so now he has some place to take it. He wants to pay cash, so don't really have to worry about a loan. It is hard to do this long distance. Here at home we could help and take it to an uncle to have it checked out. Thank you again.

The last I heard GC did not do a proto graduation; only BS did that. I guess that is one of the perks of all that time in the frozen tundra versus southern warmth.

The standard leave after proto is 30 days. I don't know this, but PattiP, I bet you are correct. Japan probably earns them a little extra time.

Sorry for both loses.

Mine is a not so little, adorable sailor.

Remember I make these and donate 10% to wounded warriors. Now these are adorable little sailors.!!

E's mom, the best for your sailor in his new path!

Carlaspurr, congratulations to your son in this awesome achievement. Hope you can celebrate with your newly minted reactor operator, the best to him and your family.

My son just passed his board so he is an official reactor operator. Is there a graduation after this final chapter is Nuke school? He has his orders already and looks like he will get leave before he transfers to his first sub. Any help?
