For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Thanks navymom3. I write her every day, but I can't wait to talk to her. I send her lots of encouragement. I know she will make it because she wants it so bad. I just pray she makes it soon.

militarymomx2 they normally test mon, wed and friday. once she does pass she may get to call home. Then she will be schedule to do the next battlestations. once that is done she will get scheduled for her flight to a school. She may then have a couple days liberty depending on when she leaves to school. if she is going to school in great lakes they will transfer her to the school side and then may have some liberty. good luck to her so passing soon. and hang in there mom. just start sending her letters of encouragement as sometimes they get a little depressed.

How is Kierstin doing? My son is in San Antonio tx. I last heard from him on Sunday. I sent him his cell phone he should get it tomorrow. He said that it is hot there. I don't think that class starts until tomorrow. Paula

Kierstinmom if she really wants to stay tell her to hang in there and let it heal. My sons friend had the same issue one week before graduation. They asked him to sign a paper and he didnt read it really good and next thing he knew he was on his way home. So write and make sure she dosnt sign anything without reading the whole thing. He said if he had to do it over he would have never signed it. He is now looking at going in again. So hang in there.

Texas is a fun place to visit! if you go to San Antonio you can go Friday am and watch the air force's basic training graduation. they even have a fly over! and for the stress fracture, make sure you join the RCU board on here! many have made it out.

Hey I am so sorry. How long does it take to heal? I know she so tired. Tell her to stay strong and I hope her leg heals quickly. I talked to my son I wont get to see him before he leaves for texas. He leaves tomorrow from ohare. Tell kierstin I am praying for her. Talk to you soon paula
