Sailorswife88 congrats. Exciting times are ahead for you
Carol Ann you have one handsome son. Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders. Tell him to not worry about being afraid of letting cuss words slip, I'm a teachers aide in our high school and trust me most kids swear like sailors already so he will fit in.
Cats mom woohoo crysta. I know how happy and proud you are. Made me smile to read your post

Julie01 my daughter knew the one that passed also. It was her duty buddy or partner whatever the term is and they were to have duty together today. So sad and so unnecessary. My heart goes out to the families involved.
And on a sad person note our family cat, Sylvester passed away today. He has been sick for a couple of months but today was he end for him

This was my son's friend and he was to have him over to hang out today. Talked to his friend last night.  What a terrible tragedy. He also knows the other sailor. I am praying so tightly for all family and friends.  It has shook my son to the core. It has been since Christmas since I have noted comments but I read everyone's daily and live, love and laugh through each one's good times and bad.  I am so grateful for all of you.

Oh Carrie forgot to say thank you for your kind words about my son! he cannot believe I am still on this site and the FACEBOOK one too. I said you know how close you got to your shipmates? Well we have bonded too and I care about those ladies and what happens to them and their sailors. he said yeah, I think I understand that. He asked are you still allowed to be on those sites? I said as long as they say I can I will....
