Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

We make/mail pillowcases for deployed military: Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard & Nat Guard. As of 9-1418, we have made/given out 82,816 since 6- 08! YTD 2018 is 5,217 We have note cards & labels, please send me a message for them.

We are mailing wave 2 to the AF this week and have another ship next week.

Had my sweet baby boy overnight on Tuesday. Boy, I sure do love being a Grandma!

Happy Friday! time goes way too fast for me. Packing up 105 pcs to mail out to the AF unit today. 1 more box to go. I told Ray today that I think I could do this blind folded after mailing many thousands of pcs. ahha

Comment by Sue-Pillowcase lady on July 13, 2014 at 10:08am: Had a wonderful lunch yesterday. The vets are great people and we gave out 15 pillowcases and cards made by the kinders.

Several WW2 who received a pc in Feb told us that they have slept on their pc every night since. 1 90 year old gentleman told me that he will be buying fabric from the many yard sales that he goes to as a way to give back.

Got several other commitments from women who clean out their stash.

A wonderful time!

Going to a lunch for WW2 vets today. Those are always inspiring to me. I will take them pcs.

When my son got out of the Navy in 2011, many people wondered if I would continue HAE. and my answer was "ABSOLUTELY as long as I have help and there is a need!"

HAE is a pay it forward group. Grassroots, funded by donations of individuals! And we have accomplished much together as a team!

There is nothing like getting a thank you note, even by email, with your name on it!
