My husband had night school at Great Lakes. Class started around 3 pm and lasted til about 11:30 Monday-Thursday, Fridays were early nights if they were ahead, but early was still 8:30-9 pm. There are c schools every where. My husband is doing IFF and he has 2 C schools, one in Norfolk, and one in St. Inigoes, MD. His ultimate duty station is in San Diego. He completed boot camp 8/2/2013, and doesn't check into his first command until 11/17/2014. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

It could be either night or day depending on which they assign your sailor.
C school depends. He could do one or multiple. My sailor went to VA right after A school for his first and then to another C school in San Diego after that. Even though he was assigned his ship, he won't even see it until he's been out of bootcamp about a year.

My ET Sailor just graduated on 7/18 and is in A school in GL.  I think he starts school next week.  I saw some comments earlier about school being at night?  Maybe I misunderstood.  Does anyone know where they go for C school?

My sailor son is struggling with ATT school. He failed the first test, but passed the second time. He is is mandatory study now. He has a technical brain and has to understand how things work and connect. The instructors, when he asks questions that it is PFM (pure frekin magic) and continue on. He was in class for 12 hours yesterday preparing for today's test. Lighting my blue candle for him today! He and a few others are already big looking into other rates in case they fail out. :(

My husband graduates Aschool October. Does anyone know how lengthy the wait for his orders to Cschool? Is it possible that he is relocated right after he finishes to Aschool to his Cschool. Our daughter is due sept. 21.

@ Teri, I bet our sons know each other, I do know that my son said he will be done in August. He will be attending my other sons PIR on 8/8/2014 with me. Once he finishes, he will take leave for about a week, and come home, I am looking forward to that!  I am really anxious to know what his orders will be...

@ Teri .. My son is FC and is currently in A school in great lakes, he will be done sometime in August from what he told me... I am not sure when exactly he started A school because he was in school for something else b4 a school started, and was on hold when he first got there... is your son in great lakes also??

I'm trying to get a better idea of when my son might be on leave after A school and before C school. He is an FC and started school on May 12. He thinks he will be done in late Augusts or early September. But by my calculations = if A school is 20 weeks he will be not be finished with school until the last week in September. Can anyone clear this up for me?
