My son left on July 17th and we received the box on July 25th I think. The form letter came a few days later july 28th.

My son also left on the 23rd. No box here yet.

I spoke too soon! The box came in the mail today. I've never been so excited for dirty laundry!! :)

Sounds like your sailor will be in the 09/19/2014 PIR group. You may want to try these two groups to connect to other family members...

Thanks! I received my box yesterday and now just waiting on the letter.

And thanks Craig, I will look into both of the groups.

janet, I left information for you on your My Page about groups to join and some other things. Yes, it is likely that your recruit is in the 09/19/2014 TG, but you will need to wait on The Form Letter to know for sure. The form letter arrives an average of 10 days after the recruit arrived at the RTC.

She is on ship 11 div. 297

Check your My Page.

Thanks

You are welcome. I hope to see you in the groups I left for you and also to see that you have made the changes mentioned.
