Hi ladies, thank you so much. I didn't know that I  could still send letters once PIR has passed. So I just wrote and sent my letter off.

Congrats Militarymomx2 on your daughter passing her run.

K2014 hang in there and like they said send encouraging letters everyday. I think it is worse on us then them. Most of us are the planning wanting to know everything type. Hang in there.

They get a call only if there is a change in status, They also get 10 chances to pass the run. Keep writing do not stop they will give him the letters, keep encouraging him

K2014, My daughter was supposed to PIR last week too Div 227. She did not pass her run and said they did not go to any of the run clinics.  I have been writing to her every day so she gets a letter of encouragement. She has been very depressed since she missed PIR and has even wondered if she should just come home and run until she is sure she can make it.  She called today and she passed!  She has Battle Stations next week.  Keep encouraging him.  Run Forest Run has become part of every letter.

Thanks leannesmom for the message.  My son called three days before PIR last week.  The only thing he said was that they gave him a scripted letter to tell us not to come. We haven't heard from him since and I'm worried.

K2014, it is a good chance that your son will end up in RCU. Many SR end up with stress fractures and they are given the chance to recuperate and they are thought how to run after they give them a chance to heal. My daughter was in RCU for 3 months with stress fractures and she graduated and is almost done with A school in Pensacola. Write everyday and keep encouraging him, he will get through it.

I'm new to this group.  My son didn't pass his run. So he missed his PIR last week and we haven't heard from him. Can someone explain to me what happens next?
