Molly Moms, Dads, Families, Friends!
We have received a call to SOS! Support Our Sailors!

We are headed back to the USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH. The INTEL/OZ crew is the focus for our August adoption.

This smaller group enjoys fairly comfortable living and working conditions. They spend a lot of time in the workspace and are looking for snacks to enjoy in that area. During their off time they work out to blow off steam.
This relatively young group is really feeling the separation from home/loved ones and could use morale boosters packaged with bunches of love! Their request list is relatively short. However, they are open to what you think would fun to eat, share, read, play...
They have access to a microwave only.
This group consists of 75 personnel (50 males, 25 females).
Let's send them a lifeboat FULL of boxes of support!

Here's the wish list:
Pillowcases are a go!
Jerky, jerky, and more jerky
Snacks
Small activity books - sudoku, word find, crossword, etc.
Magazines - gun/weapon related, Cosmo, mens health, etc.
Plain white bandanas - to be customized by each crew member and used at work or during their workouts
Customization supplies for the bandanas
...and anything else you think they would enjoy!

Shipping is set for the week of August 18-22.

The address will be posted in one week.

This group is really looking forward to our boxes of support! Let's show them lots and lots of love!

Hello to all! The recent activity is fun to see! Maybe you have been shopping like me and making up your boxes? Our shipping week is next week already! Please post how many boxes you are sending when you send them. And, if you haven't already, please share how many bandanas and fabric markers you are sending.
Also, some of the crew does not yet know about this adoption. The surprise and joy on their faces and in their hearts will be wonderful! All thanks to you fantastic Molly members!
Hi! I bought 7 bandanas and two fabric puffy paint bottles. I also have some magazines and puzzle books to send. I'd like to mail them Monday, where do I mail to?

I will be out of town the 17th through the 24th. Do you want  me to mail earlier or later?

Whit's Mom, Laura will be out of town so I am going up to her church to grab the things they have collected on the 22nd.. Have no idea yet how much they have but going to try to get it packed and shipped on the 23rd. If they have a lot (which they have in the past) might not  get it all shipped until the 25th. So anyway, I may be a few days late!

Whit's Mom (Ann)- It makes no difference to me if you ship early or late. Please tell me what you do so I can keep a box count and share with our POC if boxes will be early/late. He will no doubt hold back the early boxes for a little bit. Thank you!

I mailed a box today filled with jerky, slim jims and a few individual bags of pretzels to fill in the gaps.

Thank you, Whit's Mom (Ann)! You got us started!

I picked up 20 plain white bandanas and a package of Sharpie fabric markers this morning.

Woohoo! Thank you Kim (Ethan's Mom)!

We are now up to a total of 72 bandanas and 2 packages of fabric markers! Is anyone else getting bandanas or fabric markers? We need 75 bandanas (now we just need 3 more!) and a few sets of markers to go around.

I'll pick up more markers. Mi also picked up some magazines and puzzle books.

I didn't realize we were so close or I would've grabbed 3 more! If I need to, I can go back to get 3 more. I want to make sure everyone has one.

I can head to Hobby Lobby tomorrow and pick up 5, just to have 2 extra.  Any excuse to  visit Hobby Lobby.  :-)
