I've heard about half there r married and the other half r not. When I've been there seems that the sailors do form friendships since it's a small base...my sailor didn't say anything about family day..hummm, I'll have to ask..:)

My sailor was by himself on family day too.  He is single and so no family there.  Guess it was a good day though.

My sailor had a sad moment on Sunday.  Point Magu had a family day and he had nobody with him.  I did end up talking him into a better mood.  Thanks for asking BeachBunny.

The sailor heard from his sponsor.  He will probably be stateside for a while.

Hey there..encourager...

Love Mugu..small base compared to most....right on the beach. Is your sailor staying in the barracks? Small NEX, galley, gym and small cafe right by the barracks....work shops further away..many have, cars or motorcycles to get around..but saw a few riding bikes too...I've been there a few times now, like I said love going to that part of CA...
