~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

We have another sailor!  my Sailor (div 265) called my wife, and told her that everyone passed!  Woot!

Hoping for I'm a Sailor calls today from 265/266, maybe 267/268 too?   Not sure if they went with 2 divisions last night or 4, but hoping 4.  I'm a Sailor calls can start in just about 3.5 hours so keep those phones glued to you if you are in these divisions!  Be checking their FB accounts too since they may get on those before they can use the phones (they can purchase internet time....cheap!).

Got a letter from my SR today!  It was GREAT!  This kid (I'm I mean MAN) has gained 11 pounds!  He said he wants to go do FUN stuff for liberty.  He is craving Cheez-its and Chocolate! He said he is looking forward to sleeping in a bit for Labor Day weekend once he gets to his A-school.  So excited for him and can't even sleep tonight from all the anxiety of that special call in the afternoon.  OY!  I feel like I need to see a DOCTOR!  Someone bring me back down to earth and calm me because I absolutely BOUNCING off the walls.  I felt so bad for my employees that I worked with tonight because it was a CRAZY evening for me and work was a bit crazy itself.  WHEW!  I start vacation tomorrow! CHICAGO OR BUST!

Tracy:  A SR calls to say they didn't pass their final PFA if it hasn't been passed by their BattleStations day.  I'm assuming that the ones who called today were the ones going through BattleStations tonight.  They have through Wed of PIR week to pass a failed PFA and still attend their PIR.

So some moms got calls that their SR did not pass PFA would all the SR have call at the same time? One was in my sons division and now I'm really stressed! Also will they get to try again before PIR?
