MOMofDREW - so what does your son do in the meantime? Stand watch?  Do you know for sure if they will have a grad?

Comment by MOMofDREW2.0 on August 22, 2014 at 12:21pm

Mark, no grad date yet.  He said it could be month or more before the whole class gets to board.

The cheating thing. Sad that the media now will make it a big deal. I heard about it also months ago and had heard nothing since. Now I have been asked about it twice yesterday.
I got a new red and navy stripped shirt on sale at JC Pennies last week, had zippers on the sleeves. cute.
I remember you posting the shoe pic. funny Happy B day to your 20 year old, mine turned 20 in May.

Yes, I saw from the article it was in GC but the rumors in GC was that it was in NY (months ago).  Either way, too sad.

Cerise & Co-Twin - the cheating scandal was in GC - Prototype.  My son is in NY - he said when the scandal broke (in GC) his superiors told them about it and then instructed them not to discuss it any further.

Comment by Cerise on August 22, 2014 at 11:07am

CO-TwinSalorsMom, my son told me about the cheating scandal months ago (February?) and he said it was in NY.

Sierrascrapper - you were talking about the sneaker balls & them putting their shoes outside.  Here's a picture when we were in GC in April 2013:

Sierrascrapper - happy to hear your son got ET!  WootWoot. PIR next week - excited for both of you ;-)

Got my RED shirt on today........

Oh this has been so long since I first met you on the Twin group!! Congrats to you both. You will so enjoy PIR. Invest in Kleenex. It is an awesome experience. My Sam said he wished he could do Battle Stations again he loved it. He said to bad it is so secret, it would make an awesome attraction at Disneyland.
Then you will have to save up for Power school Graduation which is also pretty awesome. After that one you get to take a sailor home with you for a week.
BTW what happened with your job? Did you find another one?
