Molly Moms, Dads, Families, Friends!
We have received a call to SOS! Support Our Sailors!

We are headed back to the USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH. The INTEL/OZ crew is the focus for our August adoption.

This smaller group enjoys fairly comfortable living and working conditions. They spend a lot of time in the workspace and are looking for snacks to enjoy in that area. During their off time they work out to blow off steam.
This relatively young group is really feeling the separation from home/loved ones and could use morale boosters packaged with bunches of love! Their request list is relatively short. However, they are open to what you think would fun to eat, share, read, play...
They have access to a microwave only.
This group consists of 75 personnel (50 males, 25 females).
Let's send them a lifeboat FULL of boxes of support!

Here's the wish list:
Pillowcases are a go!
Jerky, jerky, and more jerky
Snacks
Small activity books - sudoku, word find, crossword, etc.
Magazines - gun/weapon related, Cosmo, mens health, etc.
Plain white bandanas - to be customized by each crew member and used at work or during their workouts
Customization supplies for the bandanas
...and anything else you think they would enjoy!

Shipping is set for the week of August 18-22.

The address will be posted in one week.

This group is really looking forward to our boxes of support! Let's show them lots and lots of love!

Thank you valeriejean!

How fun to read about boxes shipping! You have chosen many great items! We have enough bandanas for everyone thanks to all of you! The fabric markers and paint supplies appear to be adding up. Please keep posting your number of boxes mailed!

There is a lady who contacted MAS through the website and she had a packing party with Deppers in VA. Add 3 more boxes to the total!

Also I picked up the donations from Laura's church yesterday. Have 9 boxes packed and more to do. They will go out on Monday and I will send a final count!

Great! Will wait for the total until next week! Thank you Pat L. in IL!

Sarabi2013, Molly's Adopt A Sailor thanks you for being a fabulous Mom of the Month! Your hard work is sincerely appreciated!!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this month's adoption. My count is 30 boxes. The crew will really appreciate what you have sent to them! And, if you are inspired to send more boxes this week please share how many you send!  Thanks to all!

I received an email today!!!  Love to hear from our "Molly children".  I will try to figure out how to post the picture!

We are writing to say thank you for the amazing care package we received from you. Everyone here loved all of the beef jerky and other snacks in the box. We also appreciate the heartfelt offer you extended to all of us if we are ever in New York . And we do all love some good ole chicken wings! Its always nice to get support from people back home and we thank you for your support of the Navy and the various other Armed Forces. Attached is a picture of our division during our workup cycle. Some of the faces have changed but we thought you might appreciate it.

Thank you,

I've attached the picture.  Let me know if you can't open it.
