ANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Missed you girl!!  Oh so cute.  Love those pictures!!!  Milo is so big!!!! And such a cutie that little girl!!  Shock your kids, its your right!!  If you start early, they won't mind so much later, and you have a good start.

Joshmom, what a cute puppy!! Oh, be still my heart.  Things are better this week, but then again, I have been staying one step in front of the problem!!

Have a great week!

joshmom 8....OH MY....WHAT A CUTIE!!! Lab puppies are sooooo cute....and energetic!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.  Prayers and hugs to those in the Napa Valley and the surrounding areas.  I grew up in SoCal and lived through a couple of earthquakes (Sylmar 1971...the aftershocks were almost as bad as the original quake).  Kinda scary.

Rehearsals for the one-act play I am doing are a couple of times a week for now.  I am playing an Italian grandmother...working on the Italian accent. I sing in our choir (small Jewish community) and we have started rehearsals for the Jewish Holy Days (the Jewish New Year and Day of Atonement....Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur respectively) which are once a week.  I said "yes" to a request to chant from the Torah for Yom Kippur. I did it last year and the rabbi asked me to do it again this year so....back to working on that portion. I did it because my son will be home for the services and he hasn't heard me chant this before.  He is happy to be here for services at home for the first time in 3 years. Our community is happy he will be home too. Oh...and I am still working sooo....back to setting up for the day.

Have a great week!

Happy Monday Ladies!

Shelly - yep anchors would look great on those nails.  Hope you're feeling better about things

Blondie - it's sad when a community loses one of the good ones.  It's nice that your community is so caring.  I'm sure the chief's family are very appreciative of that.  Have you come up with a name for the puppy yet?  My son got a black lab puppy about a month ago....named him Maximus

Friday night football was awesome....we won 34-27....very intense game.   I think we've reached the boiling point around here.  It's so hot that yesterday I gave my big lab a bath....she hates water...I know that seems weird, she's probably the only labrador that doesn't like water!  Anyhoo it was so hot she didn't put up much of a fight and didn't even pout afterwards like she normally does!  She gets mad at me and goes off to the other side of the yard and won't come to me for hours! LOL

Oh here's Maximus

Hope you all have a wonderful week and if it's hot where you're at stay cool!!!!

I got my nails done yesterday.  I let my tech choose my color.  I didn't even realize that it was Navy Blue until my husband looked at them later.  Different for me but this Navy Mom will wear them proudly.  Next time I need to add an anchor.

Thank you Maggs, TLynn, Miss.  It was one of those days.  I just reached the end of the rope and not even a thread to hold onto.  Definitely better today.  But then again, I remember who is behind me. Ha Ha.

HI all,

So good to hear that you will be packing those long johns! And honest - you will get the hang of things around here. Especially jumping in with great gossip :).

Yippe burning Man coming up. that means great pics and stories. But mostly wishing you a grand time.

A puppy ! Oh blondie - honest - just what you needed. The puppy will lick any hurts away.

Hey - Miss and Josh - nice hearing from you two. You both always have somethings jumping in your lives. Glad you share. I get to feel the fun too.

Oh Maggs, Honest I am doing that Down the Toilet spell everyday and putting my heart into it. Guess, I'll have to try even harder. When I had days like those of yours - I would say: " What can go right - DOES go right" I'll add it to the spell. gentle hugs.

Shelly, What Maggs posted !! Perfect. Just look at it and remember who is behind you :).

got to go - right now gentle rain with some thunder and a bit of lightning. But it is building Better get off. hugs all

Joshmom, good luck to your son and his football team.  I hope he has a great school year, which I am sure he will as  a cool Junior!   You took me a back to those happy days!  My daughter is in her final year of college, and my son(Sailor) will be starting college in Jan.  I loved the hustle and bustle of getting everything ready for school and yes those football games.  We  continued to go the games after our son graduated, as our daughter was still in high school, and thought we would continue to go after our daughter graduated, but we haven't.   Once you don't have a kid on the field or a kid in school, you move on to what your children are doing at the time.  We started making lots of  2 hour trips to take our daughter something or just to take her out to eat.  Enjoy every minute of these days, they go by way too quick!

Shelly, good to hear from you, but sorry you have to work with someone who tries to bring you down!  Ditto to what joshmom said!  You've got this, girlfriend!  Sending prayers your way.

Maggs, when it rains it pours!  Bless your heart!  I hope things better soon.  Wish you were close enough, and I would loan you my sister's ORANGE Jeep that I drove when my daughter wrecked her car!  She wouldn't mind a bit, and you would get lots of attention, like I did....maybe it was my driving! LOL!  It was a straight stick and I had not driven one in 15 years, so it was show!   I sure hope things better for all of you.

Hope you all have a great day, and stay cool!

Shelly - HUGS!!!!  Don't let that lady get to you...you're better than her and don't forget it!

I think Maggs pic said it best....heeheehee had to chuckle on that one!

Hope the car situation gets better Maggs, real soon!

Anti M - Enjoy Burning Man, hope it's a great event for everyone this time

My son was actually excited for his first day of school this morning....I think being an upper classman had a lot to do with it! Plus he's only in class for a half day, second half he is going to the career center to learn electronics....following in the footsteps of his two older brothers.

Hugs and a Great Day to All!
