Hi! Saw a post on FB that there was a plan on this thread for a Sept. meeting in Bloomington. Not finding the details. I'd like to come if it works out :) Any details planned?

saltymama and goofytroll thank you the "navy stuff" answers. I had heard the VA had a store but wasn't sure if just anyone could go in there.    My sailor/son just left after having a 5 day leave.  On his first night home he got engaged. So happy for him and his girl friend. But oh so hard as his mom. So many changes in such a short time!  Praying for all military families

I must say I've enjoyed working only one day out of the last ten, but feeling a little guilty taking this last day off as its my son's 21st birthday today and he's working yet another 12-14 hour day in shipyard. I told him to have a good day anyway, that's all you can do.

I hope that all are enjoying the Holiday. For those who enjoyed the State Fair this year: Hope it was all that you hoped for.  A great time was had by all, even with the rain.  School will be in full force for all of Minnesota on Tuesday...and Fall weather will be here in no time.  I hope that some of the moms recieved calls from your kids, it sure would make for a perfect long Holiday weekend!

Barb Mike - I've found that ordering on-line is easiest for Navy apparel. There are a lot of sites I can PM you if you're interested.

Just wanted to comment that NOT all Navy Moms are on Face Book, so they are left out of the loop when things are posted there instead of on this web page.

You could try calling over the the Navy Recuiting office in Roseville and they might be able to tell you where to get "real" Navy apparel.  Good Luck

Also wanted to ask, is there anywhere in the cities to purchase "real" navy apparel?

Hi MN moms. Haven't been on this site much, but plan on changing that. Reading through the messages I see mention of a facebook page. Is there a MN Navy mom fb page?
