My daughter just graduated from bootcamp 08.15.2014! She is still in Great Lakes for her A school.

I live in Williamsburg! My son graduated bootcamp in 2011. He went to C school in San Diego and then stationed in Everett, WA where his ship is currently deployed. Early next year he will be transferred to Norfolk! I'm looking forward to having him closer to home. Does anyone live in the Norfolk area? He wants me to help him find an apartment there but I'm not sure about "decent" areas to rent.

That is so very kind of you, jappyjShip!  My son said he's assigned shore duty but then said he's not sure?  My daughter was supposed to leave for BC in June but broke her ankle so now she's scheduled to leave in November.  She's getting quite discouraged with her recruiter because he's refusing to change her rate and even told her he did...just to find out he never turned in the paperwork. So her date may change again.  She's very anxious to leave. My son never had an issue with his recuiter so it's been a bit frustrating for her.

Good morning! I'm all the way in San Antonio...missing my son like crazy!  He's at Oceana and has only been there for 3 weeks.  Can't wait to visit him in a couple months....he says it's beautiful! Have a great day, ladies!
