Just wanted to say to the mom's that are just starting the journey through Navy life with their sailor's that I know the time they are an SR is hard on them and hard on us as parents but it does get better and a little easier. My daughter graduated from boot camp last summer and there were times that I was so sad and times that she was homesick but she made it through and although there have been times that were rough, like the time she tripped at A school and knocked a bunch of teeth out, its been worth it. She has blossomed into an amazing capable strong woman and a great sailor...

Hello, I'm missing my SR too. I wish I had thought about having her to leave me a voice message on my phone so I can hear her sweet voice.  Is there anyone in the group from Georgia with a daughter PIR on 10/10?

Been trying to stay away until the meds the walk in gave start working. Will see her on Monday though. Daughter goes to school and hubby and I take over. Yea for Mondays sort of.

Thank you spyder, and so True. I think she is mad at me because she knows I am right. But what can we do right. Lots and lots of prayers.

Catsmom, don't you just love the way they get pissed at us for trying to help. Not to worry, you are not alone...I'm sure most of its have experienced it and its awful. Just know that at least she's still talking to you and that's what counts...I think they actually hear it's even if they pretend not to. Extra prayers
