Well i just wanted to write about how i'm feeling. On Monday night I separated from my SR. It was one of the hardest days of my life. Tuesday he left and arrived at GL and we said our last goodbyes through text. I had felt that my whole life flipped upside down. Those 2 days I couldn't eat or sleep, all i wanted to do was throw up. Tuesday night I felt like my body was getting weak so i decided to eat. Although it was extremely small, I ate and i felt proud of myself; small victories are great victories. Well yesterday (Wednesday) I woke up and reached for my phone to read my normal good morning text but of course there was nothing there. I cried for almost 4 hours straight. Everyone told me to write letters everyday so i can feel connected with him but it hasn't been working. So i decided to start video blogging. Every day I make a video and tell him how my day was or if something happened. I try to stay truthful in my videos because it feels go to just let out all of my real emotions, so if i'm feeling down or cried that day I say it in my video. I'm starting to feel better. Although i couldn't eat again yesterday (all i do is drink lots of fluids) I was able to get great sleep last night. I went to sleep around 12 and didn't wake up til about an hour ago. I woke up with a lump in my throat and I feel like crying but i'm trying to stay strong. The feeling of wanting to throw up is back but i'm just going to ignore it and try to eat again. Well that's my roller coaster of emotions. I hope everyone has a great day and continue to hold your head up. Although it feels like the days are going by slow, before we know it the day will be here we were reunited with our sailors.

Eunice thank you so much. it means a lot to have someone who is going through the same thing. It would be pretty amazing if they were in the same division. We will find out if they are when we get their form letter. So far all we got was his box. Did you get your husbands yet? I havent opened it, im so emotional. We can go on this journey together :)

Eunice we opened it :( it was so hard and sad. You could definitely tell he was in a rush. We didn't get any hidden notes though :( I think they probably found them and threw it away. It definitely made me miss him even more. I'm just ready to be able to talk to him even if it's through letters

Kaitsmom it was really hard to open. I had so many emotions running through my head. It hit me that he's really gone when I saw his phone because he never does anything without it. I hope you get your daughters soon! When did she leave?

No Me and his parents are going to drive.

If he left on the 26th his PIR date must be the 24th. We got our form letter fast because we dont live too far from GL so if you live far thats probably why you get everything delayed. As soon as you know the PIR date you should try to book a room at the Navy Lodge. You can book it under his name and get his discount i believe.
