Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I seem to just be counting down the days... Waiting for my box, although I left for the weekend.... Hoping for it Tuesday!! Then my letter should be following real soon!!

My daughter left Tuesday as well. I still haven't received a "box":(. This is really been hard on me. I was so gun Ho about her joining The Navy. Now I miss my little girl; ( does anyone know when they will graduate.

You won't know with absolute certainty until you receive the "form letter", maybe by the end of this week.

Our daughter left on Tues the 26th and we got the short phone call that night, late. I am waiting impatiently for the box and the form letter so we can write to her. I think the hardest part is the silence, no contact when you know so many drastic changes are going on in their lives right now. I'm sure she'll do great, but still can't wait to hear from her!

Swiss, I couldn't agree more. Not knowing how they are feeling and doing emotionally is the hardest part for me too! Just know that they have each other to lean on, and I know that they will all dig deep down and find the strength to pull through.

My daughter left on the 25th. We live in Milwaukee, so close to Great Lakes.

So nice to be close! At least you know you can go to graduation. I don't know who can go (if anyone) from our family yet. We are in Idaho and the plane tickets keep going up in price. Can't book yet either till we know the date for sure!

My daughter arrived GL on August 27.
Might see the box this week.
Estimate possibly her P5 day today.

We all have daughters! That is what makes it harder for us. We have 3 sons, and I feel it wouldn't be as hard having a son join, but maybe I'm wrong! Looking forward to that box and the post card with her address!! :)
