Hello my son and daughter in law are in San Diego. Have been their about a month or so now. Have a 2 bedroom house on base. Just got a cute dog. They seem to be liking it there. My son has been in for 4 years now. He was station in San Diego when he went thru schooling before he was sent to Hawaii. He stayed in Hawaii for 3 years. He resigned up for 5 more years and for Ship duty. He is going thru more schooling now. I do not remember which ship he was assigned to will have to ask him again. He does Communications. Kind of like IT.

Hello, you can utilize the fleet and family services website or visit one of their offices.  they have a lot of information about housing, deployment support, and things like that.  Can also visit the Lincoln Military Housing website for information about getting specifically military housing, which is pretty nice from what I understand.

I'm going to San Francisco for Fleet Week in October, where is the best hotel to stay at without breaking my wallet?

My son said he'll be on the ship but my husband & I would like to stay near him?

Any suggestions?
