This is the chapel on the grounds of the Disabled American Veteran's Center where my sailor got married on June 8th.

This is the hall where the reception was held. Can't remember the name of it, but it is the largest one.  No A/C in any of the buildings, except the chapel. P.S. The chapel only seats 40 but has plenty of standing room. The newlyweds!

Any or you hear about Green Beans Cafe? They are all over our bases. They have cup of Joe for a Joe program where you buy a cup of coffee for a serviceman. There is one in HI at the NEX. I just heard of it today. Always something to learn!

sggkw4 - my son was on the Olympia for 5.5 years until he started shore duty 16 months ago.  His mail will follow him but there is an address for the boat that you should use.  I don't still have it but will see if I can get it for you.  My sailor is still in contact with people on the sub.  I will private message it to you when I get it from him.
