Please pray for my son.  He was not feeling well on 9/10,and needed to get an ultrasound.  As of his last letter on 9/14, He was still on LLD.  He called me today regarding some information he needed, so it was a 'business call' and he could not talk about personal stuff.  He sounded fine so I think everything is OK.  I think if it wasn't, he would have told me. He said he would call this weekend.  Probably nothing to be overly concerned about but until I hear it from him, I will be.  Thanks everyone!

My son had his wisdom teeth removed today.  It's hard not knowing how he is doing.  My daughter had a difficult time when her's were removed.  Pray that he recovers quickly and he is back with his division on Friday.

Nikki--I learned NOT to see what everyone else in our SR's page was getting for phone calls.  Our son didn't get to call one time, because it was his only time to iron (how ironic for a kid who never did that at home!)  Another time, we were just out of range and he did not even leave a message.  However, the next day two of his friends called us to let us know he used his time with them, and that he was ok.

Also, if your SR has not had their wisdom teeth out, they could be in their racks on LLD (light limited duty) to recuperate, and they will not call then.

Dear Lord,  lift up our anxious hearts, and teach us again to  listen for your whispers of love and support.  Surround all our military families with strength and patience.  Keep them all safe. Prepare us during boot camp for times of further schooling and deployment, when contacts may be scarce.  Teach us your ways,  Amen

I am so thankful that I ran across this group.  I have been anxious about not receiving a phone call this past weekend from my son and reading these passages has helped me feel calmer.  I pray for all of the SR's mentioned and remember "God never gives us more than we can handle".

Asking for prayers. My nephew has been in bc since 9/3. My sister got the first call from him yesterday. He was crying, he said his blood pressure is high. They are going to check it again tomorrow and if it's still high they are going to send him home. He is devastated. Please, please pray for him. I am praying that God holds him tight and all is good tomorrow.

Florida mom, Praying for healing.  My son was in the hospital 5 days and put on light duty for a week.  He is now fine and back with his division.  Hang in there.  I know it's hard, but God has an amazing way of working everything out for good.
