The Form Letter arrives in an average of 10 days after arrival and will tell you his address and PIR date and other important information. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.

Check your My Page.

Well my son went last week - Tuesday, 9/9.  I just received the letter of graduation which is scheduled for 10/31 - Counting down the days!!!! YAYA!!

Counting Fridays may be easier on you than counting days until you get in the last week. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.

Check your My Page.

That was quick !
This is my second go around! My second son left yesterday for boot. I got the "I arrived safely" call last night. I'm thinking the second time around is not any easier on the heart, though it's easier knowing the process now!
This is my second go around too! My oldest joined two years ago. It's almost harder this time for me because my house is getting emptier. I have a daughter who is a junior in highschool. So my boys are gone :(.
My oldest has been in for 5 years. I know that feeling! I have a son that a senior and he's wanting to join the Army :-( .
I do have a daughter who's 8 and a 2 year old grandson living with me so I have a ways to go until my house is empty but it's hard letting them go.

Hi Ohiomom,

My son left yesterday as well.  I got the call last night.  I am not sure where to look for the division?  Thank God for this sight.  How are you doing?  I find myself crying at the oddest times.  At work now so hope to keep busy.

Beeposmom

I got my call last nite too, I bet our sons are together. I cry at the oddest times too. When I should of cried I did not and then it comes for no reason at all. Tough tmes...

domsmom, I left comments for you on your My Page.

Beeposmom, I left info for you on your My Page.

You will find out the division number when you get the form letter.

I'm glad our sons will be together. My oldest son was telling me that this week is a crazy week for them. They get their shots and if they need their wisdom teeth pulled that happens soon. Week one day one won't start till Monday. If you look around navy for moms there are so many tips. Even some questionnaires to send your child. I did it for my oldest and it answered more questions than he would have freely wrote me.
