splash,
Welcome!! glad you stopped in!! I know you must be getting nervous, that day will be here before you know it and you'll wonder how did all that time fly by?? Then when she is gone time will seem to crawl by until you get to see her again!!!! We Know!!! Makes no sense!!! But let us know if you have any questions or concerns and we can help you out with them!!!
Jean,
Everyone's weather seems to be so screwed up lately!! Dry has to feel very strange for you in the Pacific NW!!! Yeah, I had thyroid problems when I was in my 20's and so did my sister. I had a pretty strong feeling my daughter's would have problems too and sure enough it hit Jenn all of a sudden this month!!!! Talk about sucky timing!!! Catherine is getting herself tested but so far she is not showing any symptoms. At least Jennifer caught her's early and I know it's 100% treatable, they just have to get her in and get her treated!!!
And yes Catsmom, she will be ready to kick some a$$ then when she gets back!!!! I'm glad things are being addressed there at work for you. Good for the new lady in backing you up!!! Gosh, there may be hope????
spyder,
Sorry your daughter's visit is ending. November isn't far away!!! When do you start the next countdown????
Ampingitup,
Have you heard from your girl lately?? How is she doing??
My daughter leaves for boot camp Oct 6th. I am getting really nervous.
Good Morning to Everyone.
We finally got some rain. It isn't here to stay though. Which is very strange for us. Our fall is usually very wet so is our winter, spring and part of summer.LOL.
Catsmom, I see that the low that is bring us rain is dipping down to San Francisco. Maybe it will go a little bit more South and cool you guys off.
Anna, Hope Jenn gets some rest. I have had thyroid problems and they are not nice. When mine where in full swing I was on 28 different kinds of meds to help make it work right.
Blondie, sorry work is even harder now with your help. I wish I could of come over there and taken the job. Then you wouldn't of had to deal with a twit. LOL.
Thank you for all the kind words and prayers. For now, she is planning a trip to San Diego for her and David's Marriage Encounter retreat (a requirement for Catholic marriages). They also have some appointments for wedding vendors. After she gets back everyone's main focus will be getting this thyroid issue taken care of. She needs a little vacation and some pampering from David!!!!
Catsmom,
Is this tropical storm going to give any rain to San Diego??
Spyder,
Are you still spending time with your daughter? I know you had just over a week but I forgot when it started!!!!!! :)
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!!!
Good Morning to Everyone.
Glad you got back safe Anna. Sorry to hear about all the problems for your daughter. Hopefully she'll get her wings really soon.
Catsmom, hopefully the weather change soon. We are getting cooler weather for the rest of the week then the weekend warms back up to the mid 80's. So hopefully it will cool down for a few days for ya. On the news it looked like the low was way down into CA.
