my son will be going there in November after  A school. I was wondering how holidays worked.   Also wondered about visiting him and if the ship is going to be deployed soon.  He still does not have a sponsor so we have a lot of questions

That should have been two available weeks.

Yes my daughter advised me that there will be available weeks; half of the crew will take one week and half of the crew will take the other week.  She called me today to ask whether she should take the week of Christmas or the week after.

All I heard is that there will be a shuttle probably someplace on the pier  the morning of May 2nd to pick up those going on the cruise to take them to Yorktown.  I have no idea what pier or what time.  It sure would be helpful if someone else knew.  Grandpa is flying across country to do this with his grandson and we're starting to panic because we know nothing.  Thanks!

My daughter mentioned something about Yorktown but I didn't get details.  Nothing on their Facebook page.  My daughter's supposed to call me tonight, I will ask her.  If anyone else is "listening" please ask your sailor too.

Anyone known any details about the upcoming Tiger cruise from Yorktown on May 2nd?  Where to meet for the shuttle, etc?

I was able to visit my sailor while she was in Mobile.  I saw several other sailors, but I didn't have any paper with me and don't remember names off hand.  They had a great time.  She called me Saturday, they were in Florida at the time.

Had pictures from Mobile lately.  Sure good to have them back  in home waters!
