Lori M, great news on the dolphins. I know both you and your sailor are excited. Congratulations. I look forward to that day next year. Our journey has just started. BESS graduation on Friday. So looking forward to seeing my son. Happy Dance time for us both.

Congratulations LoriM, proud mom, and to your sailor! Those Dolphins really are huge to the sailors. My son is close to earning his and has definitely made it clear that the "fish" pin changes everything about the sub experience as opposed to being a NUB. Congrats again to you both

Lori, Congratulations to your son.  Just talked with my son over the weekend & he hopes to receive his dolphins by the end of the month. He is so looking forward to that & says things will be so different for him once he has them. Can't wait to hear that that he does.

Received an email from my Sailor, he earned his dolphins on the 21 of Sept at 13:55 (1:55pm). He was pinned and said it was an awesome feeling. Not sure if anyone earned theirs. When he gets back from this deployment trust me it will be a long phone call. I have been writing things down to ask him. lol

At least that auto correct wasn't too bad! I was initially worried about life on a sub, but hearing submariners talk about their experiences does put me at ease.

I too listen to that podcast - it gives a different perspective of life on a submarine.
