Catmom509,

Yes they are!!

She said to make sure we write everyday, so I have spent the first part of my morning preaddressing and stamping envelopes.

I am so very excited for my child, even more so since I heard her voice a know she is doing good!! <3

Ilovemyjob:  We hear rave reviews about the service and kindness at Navy Lodge.  Nice simple accommodations, friendly staff, only about a mile from RTC.  Don't think you would be disappointed, but Holiday Inn Express is a great hotel too!  CatMom stayed there and really liked it.  It is closer to Sarge's MeetandGreet, held the night before PIR for you all.  4-5 miles from RTC.  So it is up to you!  You would be at good hotels either way.

Good Morning!

Welcome Eastexasnavymomma!

Hello mommies and more!!! My daughter, ship 11 div 031, is doing amazing as I found out yesterday mid-morning. I had been worried out of my mind that she was miserablely unhappy. Boy was I wrong!! Her only complaint, which wasn't really, was that it was cold and it had been raining everyday. I am excited for my child, what her future may hold, and to have found a place where I can meet other navy moms to share info and cares and concerns.....

I can't find it on FB at all.

splash:  Those are private groups on FB.  However, consider that no social media group is really safe.....my suggestion is to not post anything on there that you wouldn't on here.  You never know when your comments could "pop up" somewhere.  I remember a time where there was a breach in FB and some of my friends had their FB private messages posted on their comment pages!  YIKES!  So be cautious in posting personal info about your SR on both sites---last names are exposed on FB so be especially careful there.  General info is the way to go!

I found the facebook page but I am not sure I like it. Can anyone see this page? I am worried about safety and security.
