I made our reservations for 5pm but I think I will change it for earlier since it will be close to the time she has to return to RTC.

We also just booked at the Lake House for Thanksgiving dinner.  Christopher explained if you are planning on adopting a Sailor, please include him/her in the count during the reservation.  There is no penalty if you reserve the space and then don't need it, but it will be difficult to add one later.

Oh know, the person I spoke to didn't say there was a limit on certificates. I just bought 4. If I see any of you there I will give you my extras. I bought one for each family member. Oh well.

Ok Navy moms, I just made our reservations for our Thanksgiving dinner as well at Lake House and spoke to a nice gentleman I believe his name is Christopher.  I asked about the Sailors eating for free and he stated that he doesn't do that and the reason is because the dinner is $15 and change already.  I also asked him if they honored the certificates and he said yes one per table but if someone doesn't get a certificate he will discount 10% off the bill for the table.  He was very glad that the word is out that they are taking reservations and he asked that I put this message on here  :)

good to know Nancyslj I was wondering about that when I clicked on the link and saw the offer.  I will make the reservations now and get a couple of the certificates since you can only get 2  :)

Oh also the Lake House has a Thanksgiving buffet for $15.95 and they accept restaurant.com certificates  http://www.restaurant.com/lake-house-lake-bluff-reviews-pid=161446#top (I couldn't make this link work but Momma J below did)

Hmmmm, chowdercall:  Haven't heard of "lost documents" on here, but I'm sure it happens sometimes.

Ladies, let us know how the LakeHouse Restaurant is.  We haven't heard of that one and would like to recommend it for PIR lunch/dinner in future groups if you like it.  Please let us know if your sailor eats for free!
