I would love to know what the rest of the info is!
I feel like I'm back in school and I have a lot to learn!

Would you like to know what the rest of the info is from the Recruiter?

It's not necessary for Letter Writing but it might be fun for you :-)

Thank you so much! I would have never figured that out because I didn't know what the ship number was. I really appreciate that;)

I also made my reservation in the lake house for 4:00pm.  So excited!  If my SR wants to be in the hotel room and relax instead of going out to eat then I will cancel it.  Better safe than sorry.

She didn't give me a ship # she gave me a ship name and then (DDG)-51 7103 b-01 Div 2015 802M
Does that make sense to you? I assume the div is 802?
Comment by MommaJ on October 20, 2014 at 8:16pm

I made a 1600 reservation...I Mapquested, from RTC, and it's only about 4 miles, but we definitely want to make sure to the the sailors back in plenty of time to walk back!!  I also talked to Chris, he was very pleasant.  Hopefully it will be a good experience!!

Hi diannep, sorry I just saw you message asking if my SR knew his ship/div number when he called and he didn't. He said he had it back with his stuff but didn't know it off hand. I know...pretty important. Anyway I did call his recruiter today and she confirmed that his PIR is 11/26 but what she gave me as the ship/div didn't make sense to me when I see what others are writing. I wasn't sure I should put all of what she gave me on here. Is that ok or do I need to private message you?

Bookster:  That is totally up to your SR.  Ask!  Some may just want to hang out in the room,, take long hot showers....ALONE after so many with shipmates.....catch up on the phone/internet....others may want to get out and about.  Totally up to them!

Veteran moms: do you think the sailors prefer to eat out or is it better to just pick up a thanksgiving theme meal from say, boston market, and eat in the privacy and quiet of our hotel room?
