Hi to all the new New York Moms.  My son is in Lemoore, CA as an AZ and is not too happy about being "in the middle of nowhere" !  He just got his car so hopefully he'll be less confined and a bit more happy!  We're from Long Island.  Hope to see this group active.

Yeah right! I live in the Bristol hills near the 4th camp! Small world. I always say Canandaigua because it's my mailing address. How amazing.

Hi there. I'm from the finger lakes area. My son is currently in Pensacola during A school. He got there in sept. 22. He loves it but is missing the change of the seasons at home.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. The last few weeks have been crazy for me. Hawaii is exciting! We had fun Saturday. It's definitely a great place to visit!  My younger son arrived for Boot Camp last Wednesday. If he PIR's in 8 weeks, his PIR will be the day after his 18th birthday! My older son, my Sailor, told me this morning that he has been nominated for Sailor of the Quarter for his command! He's currently in an Honor Guard division. I'm so excited to see both my boys doing such good things with their lives. :-) I also don't know if I mentioned that I'm now the Rochester Coordinator for Dogs on Deployment. If your Sailors have/get pets, make sure they know about this organization. It is a great resource for our Military and Veterans.
