Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 007 and 008

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi: My son is Ship 13 Div. 007. Have gotten a phone call and a letter. He said letters are very helpful.

How is everyones SR doing?

My son is Div 007 also. I got a phone call this past Saturday but no letter yet.

My son is also Ship 13 Div 007. We got a few letters (all together) on Thursday last week and finally got a call from him last night. He was able to talk for 30 minutes! It was so great to hear his voice. He had to get two fillings and had some shots...I thought he was up on all his shots so not sure what they were!? I was able to put him on speaker so his dad and sisters could all hear him and talk to him.

That's great!

my SR had a wisdom tooth pulled. He said the dentist was great and fast.

It sounds like they're ship/division is working well together.

What is this SARGES meet and greet? I keep seeing postings about it.

It is a get together on Thursday evening to get to know other parents, girlfriends, and wives of sailors. He has food, they do a ceremony. He also says it is family friendly. Look for the link on this page on the sides.

Hi! New to this! My son is also Ship 13 Div 007!
