KathyMom, I am in agreement with these ladies for your son's health and God's direction for his life. (((Hugs)))
CeCe - so happy for you and your Sailor. PIR was such a good time. :-) I loved that hug after the Liberty call. It was so wonderful. Continuing to lift your son and all of our Sailors in my prayers.
Christians are to be "like-minded" being united in love, being one in spirit and purpose. (Philippians 2:2). I LOVE that I can come here and be in the presence of like-minded women who pray for each other and our sailors.
Blondie - exciting times planning a wedding for your sailor! Can you share the date? My daughter will be a bride Friday 9/4/2015. We are excited to have a venue and a date. Now for the dress. :-D
Sailor son has four docs that have submitted paperwork towards his med-board. He is definitely having his ups and downs - trying to stay positive while dealing with a situation he absolutely does not want. I suspect he will no longer be a sailor by March/April time frame. As much as he doesn't want this to happen, he is now on a biological medication and in considerable pain on a daily basis, some days he has difficultly walking. I think it will be best for him to pursue another dream, he just has to find this new dream.
Please know that no matter what happens, I will always be a Navy mom in my heart and will always be praying for you and your sailors.
Blondie - I hope you never stop your encouragement on this page. I can't tell you how there are days that just reading the posts bring me back to center. Love to all and prayers continually!
I want to Thank everyone for praying for my son. He graduated boot camp Oct. 17th and now is in A school. Your prayers made a difference in his life. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
deidre86, That's a good idea. Prayers for little sister too.
CeCe, he did take his bible. And thank u for praying for him. His little sister(in my profile) is struggling also. They are 7 years apart. She is 12. They are very close. I will suggest that she send him scriptures that they both can say.
