Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 011 and 012

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thanks!

Oh, I'm not the only one.  I was on the PIR board on FB and Division 11 was listing everyone calling last Thursday and I was completely bummed that I hadn't gotten another call.  We had one his first weekend there and again the following weekend and nothing since.  It's making me crazy not knowing why he didn't get to call last week.  I'm choosing to believe he was on watch or on duty with the Ship Staff and simply couldn't make it.  Here's to both of us getting a call soon!

Hi ladies,

I too have been seriously stressing out....! I received calls from my son the 1st and 2nd weekend but have yet to hear from him since. His birthday was the 24th and I was sure I would hear from him that weekend but I didn't :( (very disappointed).   He sends me a letter at least once a week but I would love to be able to talk to him(by the way his letters are about 4 sentences long...lol).  He has never been much for writing so I am grateful to get that much.  Well hears to hoping we all hear from our children soon!!!

Read and ask questions.  There are AWESOME ladies here who are very knowledgeable and willing to help.  So happy I discovered this site.

I didn't get any calls for the first 2 weeks then I did 2 Saturday's in a row then the following Wednesday but nothing since. It's been a week and a 1/2 now and driving me crazy. I guess I should feel lucky I've gotten that much but it's still really hard not knowing how he is. Last call he said they've been getting yelled at a lot so hopefully it's gotten better.
Justwhisl, what's the PIR page on FB? I don't know if you can post a link or what on here but if you can say the exact name of it I'm sure I could find it. Thank you :-)

Search for the name in the FB search bar:

PIR 11-21-14  NAVY BOOT CAMP   11 DIVISIONS  (009-018 & 902)

Thanks!  Found it :-)

Anyone else get letters? I have one waiting on me when I see my mom tomorrow :D I hope this letter is happier since he finally started getting all my letters. Hope he is excited sending him one everyday since he left lol
I got a short letter, more like a paragraph, lol, but it counts.
Yes it does :)
I received 2 but very short ones. The last one he said he had just gotten a letter from me that I had sent 2 weeks prior so it must take a long time.
