Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew about the bonuses and tax eligibility on a submarine?  I've been hearing mixed opinions, some saying that on a sub, when reenlisting you will still have taxes deducted.  Is this true or anyone know?

Thanks!

Thanks Kevsmom - he arrived safely yesterday - uhaul and all. He and his wife had to find and pick out an apt sight unseen - thankful for Google Earth - a look at neighborhoods helped!

No matter how old- they are always your little boy!

Welcome to our Sub mom group AustinNavyMom! If you finish all those pages let me know, I have yet to do that and I've been here a while :-) I agree PIR is a must and just around the corner for you and your Sailor, an early congrats! It was the only graduation we were able to attend so it's holds a special place in my heart. Sadly we were never able to make it to any of our son's graduations in Groton.

Cath Bubblehead safe travels to your son!

Welcome AustinNavyMom! My son is a year in the navy and traveling to his boat this week. Things get a bit easier for moms after BC - until they go out on the boats! Enjoy PIR!
