CatMom509, I just sent that Isaiah scripture to my SR a couple days ago!  I was also thinking it sounded appropriate for BS :)

Thanks Dianne! It's ok, I knew it sounded too good to be true hahaa but I just wanted to ask before I got my hopes up lol. But he won the honor recruit award, he accomplished what he said he would strive for going into bootcamp... Staying rpoc the entire time, and winning an award. Definitely proud, thanks so much :)

Sailorswife:  Sorry, but that is not true.  No seeing the sailors before PIR day.  However, if your SR is an Honor Recruit, you will be attending a private ceremony on base before PIR to watch him receive this honor.  But sorry,  not the day before.  Congrats on your SR's honor!

Question! My husband was able to call the other day and he told me he won an award and mentioned that there's a possibility I would be able to see him a day before PIR but he would fill me in after BST. Has anyone heard of this before?
