Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 903

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

What is the best time and/or place to go for thanksgiving dinner?

I have no idea. I saw a few posts on the main page. I am trying to find a grocery store that cooks turkey's and then cook sides at the hotel. But if I am not successful. We are just going to go with what my SR want's to do this year. No stress is best!!

Sounds like a good idea, just don't know anything about the area. Was not sure what all would be open.
Got second letter for SR. She sounded great, making friends, passed Pt! Swim test and enjoying classes. Does anyone know when he'll week is or battle stations? She talked about those coming up. Says time is going by fast.
Really missing my SR today. Anyone else SR going to 'A' school in pencacola?

My daughter is going to Pensacola as well!

Yea another mom in 903. Have only meet 4 other. Where are you from? Planing on going to graduation? I am ready to see my daughter.
We are in the chicago area which is awesome. Glad you are able to come in for graduation. I have talked to my daughter a few time s. She sounded really drained on Sunday when she called. Hard to hear her like that.
My daughter said things were going good but really needs time alone. She has two brothers so use to her own space, and not so much chatter. The first call she sounded worse for me. Started crying when heard my voice, that was really hard. So ready to go see her.
Heard from her Monday, woohoo! Hope others did as well. She sounds good, ready for graduation.

hi fellow 903's- I somehow overlooked this page.  just wanted to add my 2cents re thanksgiving dinner: someone on the main pg recommended to go to opentable.com & they have a link for thanksgiving where you can see who's open in the area. I was able to find a place near our hotel. I didn't realize my "full kitchen" room has no oven- oops! Like the idea of finding somewhere that will cook to the room if our sailor wants that instead. we have been fortunate enough to have gotten a couple of extra phone calls that were earned. sounds like he's doing great! so thankful!! 4wks from today... cant wait!! :)
