Anna and jappyj,

My daughter unfortunately has one of those fathers. It has been so difficult for all of my kids to deal with him and the stuff he does.  He did not go to my SR's High school graduation and did not get together with her before she left for BC. He is so abusive and horrible. The pain he inflicts on them is inexcusable.

Anna...accoding to website it dependson which entrance but appears to be within Ann hour or so from here.....are you going there sometime?

jappyj,

I can tell your daughter all kinds of info about how to deal with a father that will never live up to any expectations she may have.  And how I had to finally learn how to protect myself from being hurt by an abusive father.  I pray for her to learn soon how to protect herself.  I wouldn't wish that on another person on this earth!!!!

Catsmom,

Love, love, love that!!!  Did you carve that??

Jean,

So glad the surgeries went well!!  Praying for speedy and complete recoveries.  Now for your knee!!!

spyder,

You are close to Phoenix correct???  How far are you from the Sonoran Desert National Monument??

Bert,

Sounds like you're going to have fun and lots of good memories!!!  Will you be going to the swearing in??

It never ceases to amaze me how my daughter is constantly disappointed by her dad and keeps going back for more.  She is on leave for two weeks spending a week with her boyfriend and then was suppose to spend the second week with her dad as usual he told  her she couldn't come stay with him "its complicated" was his response.  One day she will realize what he is doing and cut him out of her life until then I just have be here to support her.
