Very expensive from the Pacific to anywhere in the US. My son is coming home in March ,I want to buy his ticket on my credit card now and pay it off by the time he comes home, just to use it again. His ticket will be close to 1,500.00. can't find a discount.

Hi,

sorry I havn't been on for some time. I also heard from my son a few times, usually at 2am .I didn't care it was nice hearing his voice. He can't wait to get to Japan also, being deployed for so long has taken it's toll. They want land and a little fun as well. They work very hard on the ship I was told some times even 16hrs. Hard to sleep because of the planes that are constantly on the move. We are Proud of all of them.

Happy Halloween!

This group sure has gotten quiet.  Hope all your sailors are doing well and enjoying some R&R right now while in port....hope the phone calls have been pouring in.  I heard from my son the other day and he sounded great...was getting ready to go golfing with his buddies.  It's so comforting to know he's having some fun.  They all work so hard and the days are long on deployment.  They all deserve fun time!

Have a wonderful Halloween and great weekend!

How do I find out if there is a family cruise this year?
Comment by sethsmom on July 9, 2014 at 1:31pm

We ordered those shirts. They came and are really nice.  Can't wait to give our son the one we got for him.  Anyone know anything about the family cruise this year?
