Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My daughter recruiter told her the same thing I hope that there reactions are because they hear are voices and hoping the next phone calls can be much different
I'm glad to meet you too and may be we can see each other's at the graduation

My daughter call me too for the fist time since she left on 11/12/14 I experienced the same thing our conversation last 4 minutes at the end I lost it and been criying my daughter and yours are on the same ship 03 Div 052 just wounder if the meet each other

I'm not sure if I'm on the right group
My daughter left 11/12/14 I received her box las Wednesday and the formal letter on Thursday and her graduation is on 1/9/15
She is part of Ship 3 Div 052!!
I would like to get in contact from moms that are part of this div

daysia/mbteach:  Your SRs are training together!  Brother divisions, so you may want to friend request (one to another) and then message more personal info between the 2 of you!   You could get the names of each other and write your SRs to see if they know each other!

shangrilamama:  Those kind of "need info" calls are supervised and that is why he was so business-like.  They are told beforehand that this is not a chit-chat call.  So glad you got to talk to him!

And, like you said, all calls should be answered from unfamiliar numbers when someone is in Bootcamp because you never know!  Just get rid of the solicitors quickly!

Just a heads up.  We got a call from our son yesterday looking for more info and extra references for his security screening.  If your child is going into a job that requires a deeper security clearance you'll probably get that call.  I also let ALL his references to not ignore unknown calls for this reason.  He was pretty business like but he sounded "good".
