My SR called just a couple hours ago sounding very down.  He feels ashamed by not passing his last run.  I again reminded him of all the areas he excelled in.  His next run is tomorrow.  I pray that tomorrow is the day he pushes through.  He didn't know when the next battlestations would be.

That's a relief that looking back, he knows it was the right way for him...I told my son that we have no idea the whys behind God's timing.  45 seconds.  He has shaved 6 minutes off his time from when he first arrived at boot so, I know he can do it.  I have no concept of running 45 seconds; Even at my most fit (30 years ago!), I was never a runner so, to run for 12 full minutes for me would have to feel like a near death experience.

sounds smart. mine didn't get a ceremony, but does not regret his time in fit. (would do it again that way). did he say how many minutes he needs to make up?

thank you sammy1990.  I am planning on cancelling my flight and hotel this morning.  I sent an email to Sarge to let him know I won't need transportation.  If there's any way at all....if I get a call tomorrow that he passed....I will drive and just hope I make it on time.

currently correct. he will call when he passes. he'll test 3 times a week (though with tgiving probably only twice). then he must do bs before he can graduate. do you have airline tickets?

Hi,  my son called yesterday to say he didn't pass his run and was moved to the Fit Program.  I reminded him of all his tremendous work and this was just a delay.  I let him know how proud of him we all were and that I knew he would push through.  The RDC (in background) said he would not have enough time to graduate with his division....His PIR date 11/26.  His next run will be this Monday.  It sounds like once they are moved to FIT, they do get to call to say they passed.  Is that right or, does it just depend?

NavyMom- I received the same scripted call last night around 8:00 CST saying that he did not pass and he would graduate with his division.  He was on speaker phone w/ his RDC in the background as well and stated that if I came to graducation I would not see him because he would not be there.  He told me he was making progress and to not give up on him.  He also said he would call when he passed both tests.

I know this is a very confusing and difficult time, but know that there are others here for you and praying for your SR. (HUGS)

I received a call from my SR yesterday around noon saying he didn't pass the running part of his PFA - was 12 seconds short.  He would try again today and then get to go to BS with another division.

Then at 5:00 I get a voicemail from him which was scripted "Mom, I did not pass my PFA and I will not be graduating with my Div.  Do not come to graduation."

At 8:00 I received another call where I could talk to him - same script however his RDC's were in the background - one saying "he will not be graduating" and the other saying "if you come you won't see him".

I cancelled my flights for this morning as well as my hotel, taxi, and dinner reservations.  Praying I get a call this afternoon that says he passed his run.

I am VERY CONFUSED.  Disappointed for my son.  Please pray...thank you.
