You are right...The Roasted Pear DOES NOT have the mice...it was outside.

I wish mine had been a leaf, but at least it did not run over my shoe :)

Let's not scare anyone into thinking that the Roasted Pear has mice!!!  LOL  I thought that I saw a mouse, too, but discovered after looking at it more carefully that it was only a dried leaf being blown across the parking lot by the wind. I really felt dumb but it got my heart beating a little faster for a few seconds!! Something to laugh about under the tree!!

I'm planning on being there.  Hope we can have that nice corner again.  I liked that spot :)  Also, I hope I don't see any mice :)

Welcome Mommyladie.  Glad to have you here.

J Peder, I'm sorry that your 2nd son has to come home, but I'm sure he will find the right direction to go.  Glad to hear that your other son will get to come home in Feb.  Our sailor gets to come home over Christmas!!  It's only for 10 days (really only 9 with the late flight in), but he hasn't been home for Christmas in 3 years.  We are excited!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving to you all!!
Thought I would update you on my 2nd son who was put on Ship 5 in bootcamp.
He is finally being sent home some time this next week. The Dr gave him an ok for the knee injury that he got at bc but the scar from his 6th grade injury that was never recorded is the reason he is being sent home.
He was told he could stay in Great Lakes and try to fight it but, he meet a couple others in Ship 5 who have been there for 6+ months fighting whatever they had going on and he didn't want to do that. He can re-enlist in 12 months if he wants to.  We would have to find the Dr from 8 years ago and have him sign a waiver.
But we will let him get home and re-group to see what he wants to do going forward. He is already signed up for college so he could start in Jan.with classes.
Thats about it for him. They are keeping him busy and the last time he called he was more upbeat then when he first called about being put on Ship 5.
But Yahoo my other Sailor will be home in Feb. He told his sister that it would be March so we are going to try and surprise her(don't know if that will happen tho)
Have a good rest of the weekend !!
