Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 804

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Thanks for the update JinCincy!
I got a letter today, woohoo! He sounds great, very much like himself lol. Said their RDC's are great and that one RDC in particular should be a stand up comedian cause he is so funny. He also said this was the first time they were allowed to write and should get more time soon to write more.

Thanks for sharing, Wendy!  I'm anxiously awaiting my mail today, but I'm thinking it may be tomorrow before I see anything in Texas!  My parents are in PA and it takes forever for mail to get to me -which I never really understood!  BUT... I can still hope that it'll be today, right??  Keep the updates coming, ladies!  It's so nice to hear what each of them has to say!!

So happy for you Wendy to hear you received a letter from you SR. It is so nice for you to share. I can't wait to finally get ours. Waiting for our mail to run. I too live in Texas, but hope we don't have too much lag time.

Well... my mail came.  No letter.  Peanut820, maybe you'll have better luck!

So excited for you Wendy2110!! Glad the RDC is a comic. Laughter is the best medicine, after all!
Nothing for me today either. I think I gave our mail carrier a dirty look!! Hahaha

Hang in there, Moms!  I actually got mail today -- I almost cried...how crazy is that??  Three letters total; two in the the same envelope.  And I'm in Texas, too!

So good to hear that my boy is doing well.  Sounded just like himself, and said this is a great group of guys.  He got the little "bug" that seems to go around in BC early on, but said it is clearing up quick.  He also has to get his wisdom teeth out - not sure when, but I know he will have a couple days of recovery.  Ugh.  I just hope that goes well.

And for those of you who - like me - thought it wouldn't be a big deal for your son to get letters...well, keep writing!  They are getting them, and they really do enjoy hearing about anything and everything that is going on.  I think it must give my non-letter-writing son something to write about!  lol

Still keeping my phone by my side, and looking forward to a call - but it sure was nice to get these letters today!

Hi MommaBear!  I got 3 letters today, too!  It was great seeing that handwriting!!  He had so much to say - but mostly what he expected.  He's getting two of his wisdom teeth pulled - so maybe my son and your son will be in recovery together.  He didn't know when that would happen though either.  I just hope it doesn't interfere too much.  He's doing great on everything, but his run has suffered with the lack of PT and I don't want him to miss any workouts that could get him back where he needs to be!  I've been writing everyday since we got the form letter with the address, but at the time of his last letter (Sunday), he had not received any mail - which broke my heart.  Did your son say he had already received mail from you?  Surely they are by now!!

Hi, Missy123.  Yes, I believe my son had received some letters, although I  am not sure how many at that point- but he commented "keep em coming".  I'm sure your son has been receiving his too!  My son's weakness is the run, but in his letters he said he was just working hard to keep bringing it up...so the positive spirit is there.  How old is your son?  The age range in this group is 18-26 apparently.

Hi MommaBear.  My son is 23.  To say that the run is my son's weakness would be an understatement.  He could make his times on everything else in his sleep (well, OK, maybe not in his sleep, but you know what I mean, LOL), but that run, UGH!

LOL.  Yes, for my son too!  But they all have strengths and weaknesses...and they have time to work on them, that is for sure!  No matter how well they tried to prepare prior to BC, they will all still have things they struggle to improve upon.  My son said he felt the RDCs were pushing them all to improve, and that was in a good way.  So that said, I am just going to believe they've GOT this!  :)

That's awesome!! So happy for you MommaBear!!
I hear a lot of SR's have to get wisdom teeth out. Speedy recovery to your Cub!!

Thanks, SMIPA.  I know it will go well.  I'm not sure when it is scheduled to happen, but I told him the recovery time will help him get rested and stronger to make PT gains.  !!!  A little positive thinking can't hurt!  :)
