For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello
It has been a long time since I have posted and I am sorry. I hope everyone has been able to connect with others in the PACT program. My son is now 3 and a half years in and it has been a great experience. He thought he wanted to be an AM. When he got on the ship, he was put with the AO’s. Now he is an AD3. It was best for him to start PACT because we didn’t know much about the Navy and he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. This has been a good route for him.

Hello all! My fiance is currently in bootcamp PIR 1/9/15 and is A-pact. I've just been looking for more info and others that have gone through this! Also does anyone know if PACT gets the accumulated leave after a-school? Thats when we plan to get married.

Hang in there, ladies. It does get easier. Two years ago, my son was in boot camp for Christmas, which was really hard!! Last year,he was in Italy, which was hard for me. This year has not been so bad. That may be because I saw him last month, but I also think I have gotten used to him being gone. I miss him all the time, but it's been easier.

Q'smomKim Yes, my son got his orders before PIR, attend training at GL, and then left to go to his duty station. I believe the training was for 3 weeks.

Dilian, our first Christmas without the kids either. Somehow it doesn't seem so bad knowing other Navy Moms are going thru this too. I am just so happy that my kids are happy.

Vickie360, my son is also A PACT. I wonder if this means he and your son will travel together to Pensacola the day after graduation? Which Ship/Div is your son in?
