Hey everyone. My son graduates next Friday and then he is off to Corpmans school. I was thinking about getting him a laptop. But don't know if he would be allowed to use it in class?

I am so glad that this site exist. Just from reading the post as a mom I felt so much better. I found out that there were many mom's in the same boat as myself and that I was not alone. My son called me a week ago from Recruit Training and said he was ill. He is in division 085. I was so worried about him but I feel so much better knowing that there are moms who have children at recruit training going through similar things and that he should PIR on time which is February 6. I slept for the first time in a week after accessing this site. Thank you Thank you so much for sharing everyone!

Thank you!  I thought I saw a link to the different groups that were beginning boot camp.  My son leaves in January 2015.  Now I cannot locate it.  Can you direct me?  I'm so grateful for this site already!  So much information.

Mahalo for the information and adding me to the site. Hope that I have provided the correct information to let other moms know which ship/div my son is currently in? I also understand that once I've established contact with others, I should remove that information from my profile. Please let me know if I've misunderstood. Mahalo again and aloha for now...
