Welcome ProudSista 77, congratulations to your brother. It's nice when they can finally settle in somewhere for the long haul. At least in the Navy when they deploy they don't have to pack up and change rooms every time like my Marine son does. I don't post as much as I used to these days but I do read everything ;-) Have fun with the Navy lingo, it's definitely an interesting "dialect."

Hope all is well your way mrsb, we're fine here :-)

Feeling very blessed this Christmas to have both my Military boys home this year, as last year, they were both away, one in Africa, and the other in Hawaii.

Thank you for all your prayers & thoughts. Brian is in a lot of pain right now, & May need surgery on his wrist. We'll know more when he sees the surgeon on Monday. All day yesterday, I was counting my blessings, knowing he could have been hurt much more seriously or worse. I've been thanking & praising God every minute for watching over my son yesterday, keeping him safe from further harm, considering how deadly motorcycle accidents usually are. I'm hoping this will sway him against motorcycles from now on, but it's too soon to have that conversation with him. I never wanted him to get a motorcycle in the first place, I was dead against it for good reason, hopefully now he'll realize why.
