RhodyAnchor:  Write extra letters for a while, with lots of encouragement.  Bootcamp is emotionally up and down....he will have some good days, then bad, then good.  Support from home is what fuels them so you really can't write too often!

Good Morning All !

MTRanchMom, it is beautiful there! We like to visit often! Great place to be from.

MomofSix, we used to live in New Mexico.  My hubby grew up there, and all our kids were born there.  My oldest lives there now.  I miss it when it gets super cold up here.  I'm glad you got your call.  It helps bc go by faster.

We were at the New Mexico Bowl yesterday watching one of our other boys and were surprised with a phone call! I think my husband and I about passed out! Our son loves the food too! Said he is doing good, wanted to know how is favorite sports teams were doing.

Congrats, MTRanchMom, in having your sailor home!  I know this will be a very special visit!  And the call/letter from your SR....a wonderful bonus!

We got another call and a letter yesterday.  I am a happy Navy Mom.  She said she actually loves the food.  She's a fruit and veggie fan and says there is always a lot to chose from.  My Petty Officer son get home today for a visit.  He's been in two years and 10 days.  It will be great to see him.  I am so happy that you all received calls also!

Good Morning!

My husband and I each got a call today from our SR. He is in Div 081, ship 13. We each talked 10-15 minutes. He sounded great and said that he was in the "push" group. We should be able find him easily in PIR since he is tallest in DIV. Unfortunately he said that he is last in line to eat and usually ends up with only 6 minutes to finish his food! Btw, we did get his clearance info in on Thursday so maybe that is why he got to make the calls.

Congrats on the calls today!
